I’m excited to share that Stencil1 is now an official vendor for NYC Public Schools, and this week I exhibited at my very first NYCPS Brooklyn & Queens M/WBE & Small Businesses Expo at York College.
The event was energetic, dynamic, and inspiring — a full room buzzing with parent coordinators, teachers, vice principals, and principals who are deeply invested in bringing creative resources to their schools. It was an incredible opportunity to introduce Stencil1’s stencils, workshops, and mural programs to the education community.
I’m thrilled to say that Stencil1 was very well received. Many schools expressed interest not only in stencils for their classrooms but also in Parent Engagement Nights, where families can create together using tote bags, T-shirts, cards, or collaborative stencil art projects. My school mural offerings also sparked great conversations about beautifying hallways, cafeterias, and community spaces.
This marks the beginning of a new and exciting journey—bringing creativity, art-making, and self-expression to students and school communities across New York City.
