Yes, you can paint over knitwear! I used Pebeo Black Fabric Paint and the Skull Profile Stencil -Small (5.75″x6″) to paint a beanie cap, giving it a grunge vibe. To be able to get the paint on the beanie cap, I used 2 coats of paint.
