Stencil1 joined Levi’s for a Hamptons Backyard bash for Shopbop and The Daily. The location was lovely, and guests got to enjoy an evening of music, food, drinks, and games. Guests were also given free Levi’s denim jackets and had the opportunity to have them customized by the Stencil1 team!

Founder, Ed Roth, says “Providing one of a kind designs is what everyone wants now, it’s a luxury in itself to have something no one else has.”

Customization is a big hit nowadays. All the major brands are doing it. Who wouldn’t want a unique item that fits them and their personality? Being able to design and own a one-of-a-kind item is the best part.

“The uniqueness of Stencil1’s customization offering is it’s a personal experience, not an item made by a machine. Myself and my amazing team get to chat with the customer, plan the design together to their specification. It’s a rewarding experience.”

Stencil1 was asked by Levi’s to provide customization in their new New York showroom during this year’s Men’s Fashion Week. The event was filled with buyers and press and Levi’s provided these guests with denim tote bags, t-shirts, and denim shorts for the Stencil1 team to customize.

We created 2 custom stencils for the event, a sun image based on a Levi’s log and a flower design based on a textile Levi’s offers. The party-goers were treated to cocktails and got to request stencil image, placement, and color from the team.

Once again, Levi’s has asked Stencil1 to curate another customization event in celebration of the opening of their new SoHo showroom and Men’s New York Fashion Week. This time, Ed Roth and his team will be customizing various Levi’s products for the attending editors with special custom made stencils and some of Stencil1’s iconic stencils.

Meeting our customers, networking with creative minds, and creating one-of-a-kind pieces are only a few of the many rewards of our events. To work with major brands we respect is an accolade and we feel honored that they see our brand as more than a commodity but at as a lifestyle brand that aligns with their companies ethos.

Many big brands such as Levi’s, Converse, and J. Crew are offering customization- it’s safe to say this is the new way of business.  We are incredibly happy to be part of this on-going and growing offering.

Here at Stencil1, we provide creativity in many ways. First we have a collection of stencils for home decor, apparel, and crafts. Levi’s asked us for a second year in a row to curate a DIY event for Pride 2017 and we jumped right in. Hello Mr. was the host and they brought the crowd. The difference this year was we made it a DIY rather than we customize for the attendees, this is the way we like it the most! Everyone was given a Levi’s tote to customize or any purchase could also be painted and boy did they paint.  Whether it was messages of EQUALITY and LOVE or just some Summer fun with our new tropical monstera and banana leaves, everyone left with a one-of-a-kind item.

Levi’s also has a new special-edition pride collection with bold messages like FIGHT STIGMA, this brand is truly for the cause of equal rights to all and we are grateful to work with them.

Although the weather’s getting warmer up here in NYC, we couldn’t resist another trip down to Miami for another art party at the Soho Beach House! We spent Valentine’s Day at Soho Beach House making DIY cards and t-shirts with moms and their kids, but now we’re back painting simple wood panels with a young adult creative crowd.

Some of the guests layered patterns, while others used our iconic stencil designs for a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Many found it calming to sit and let their creativity run free while sippin’ on a glass of rosé! Here are some photos from the event:
