Stencil graffiti has for a long time now made its way off the streets and onto interior walls in galleries and art lovers homes. You can easily make some art with a street style too.
These preframed canvasses by Handmade Modern are a dream come true! Framing is expensive,these are not.
Start by removing the canvas from its frame. Paint the canvas a solid color and don’t worry about streaks or unevenness it adds texture much like the urban landscape. Let dry or blow dry with a dryer.
Now for the drips using our drip marks stencil. We used a few colors including gold and used parts of the drip designs in various places on the canvas. You want it to look like spray paint dripped in random places.
Using very little paint on your stencil brush, fill in the stencil cutout areas. Once complete,dry it so you can add the boom box.
Perfect drips!
Place to boombox stencil where you want it and using very little paint on your stencil brush, paint in the open areas of the stencil. This stencil fits perfectly on the canvas!
Go dry and build up, too much paint will make your stencil design come out fuzzy.
You can also paint the frame! We used blue, a color in our painting. It makes the whole piece come Together nicely!
