This DIY has I love you written all over it, literally.
We used our Valentine’s 3 pack stencil set and this simple wood frame from Target’s Handmade Modern collection.
It is unfinished wood so it is ready for paint. Start by carefully taking apart the frame.
I whitewashed the frame with watered down white paint. Use a rag or paper towel and rub it on the wood. It’s nice to still see the grain of the wood.
This effect gives it a vintage look. Let dry.
The three pack love stencil set has an I love you stencil in it. Used in repeat, this will cover the frame nicely. Place the stencil on the top left area and using gray paint and a stencil brush, fill in the design. Do not water down the paint for stenciling. Use an up and down motion to get into all these little cuts. Lift the stencil, let area dry and move the stencil to the next spot. Repeat until frame is full.
