Tired of your earrings getting lost? Wish your rings and bracelets were all in one place? Since one of our designers can never find her second earring, so we made this simple jewelry box in hopes that they won’t keep disappearing. We used our trusty asian star pattern stencil.
We used a cylindrical box, so she could fit her bracelet and new watch as well.
First, add tape to the inside of your top. This will allow you to pick up the top without getting your hands wet with paint once you paint the sides.
Paint a blue base of the top. This is where the stencil will be.
Once dried, grab your asian star stencil and use the marbled/metallic paint to create the pattern.

Paint the box as well.
Add tape to the bottom of the container, and let dry. Leaving it upside down gave it a nice marbled effect, which showed up nicely when the paint dried.
Let the paint dry. Once ready, get some nice fabric to place inside.
