We’re thrilled to share big news: Stencil1 has been awarded a 2025 Neighborhood Business Grant from CitizensNYC! This support helps us bring free, hands-on stencil art events to neighborhoods across New York City in 2025.
With the grant, we’ll roll out a series of pop-up stencil workshops—think creative make-and-take projects, upcycled tees and totes, and collaborative mini-murals—designed for students, families, and seniors. Our goal is simple: make creativity accessible, spark confidence, and show how stencils can turn everyday materials into art.
