Here’s our a step-by-step tutorial on how to make and stencil a canvas wallhanging with our favorite Palm Fronds stencils and 2-in-1 Monstera Tropical Leaf Stencil
To begin with the project, you will need to place the top part of the canvas sandwiched between two wood pieces of trim from your local lumber supply or craft store.
Next, staple it all together with a stapler gun. The staples just reach through to the other piece of wood. You can then hammer then in further for a secure fit.
Then, use some rustic twine, measure it to create a nice triangular hanging shape and tie knots about 2 inches from the end of the rope on each end.
Staple both sides to the back.
Now you are ready to start stenciling. But first, determine how your artwork will be arranged on the canvas. Then, tape 2-in-1 Monstera Tropical Leaf Stencil & Palm Fronds Stencil to the canvas in the desired areas, and gently tap it over with green paint.
Finally, reveal your project and enjoy the result!
